As an experienced I can say most cooking and fry oils used in restraunts contain soybean oil. Some tortillas or refried beans use lard. My guess is that the majority of the product has one or the other or both. Some of the menu items could probably be made without it if the cooks are sharp enough.
Low price tacos ($1.50/taco), with lots of meat. Love the style they serve it in too. The cooked onions and grilled jalapeño are perfect compliments to their classic cilantro and fresh onion.
Best tacos in Hillsboro. Great tamales too
BUSY Authentic Fresh Mex Driving by this place the last year or so and finally stopped for lunch. Definitely a new customer. Large portions, fresh, local ingredients.
Oh jeez, I think I may have just woke up in Mexico. Great little spot with real tacos. Outdoor seating. It’s a go to spot
My boyfriend enjoys coming to this Mexican restaurant a lot. This place is alright. There food is average. They have fresh fruit water of different flavors everyday. The staff is friendly. They have a variety of salsas along with tortilla chips. They also have 2 restrooms located towards the side of the building.
I mean it's a legit hole in the wall but the food is sold and cheap. The chicken caldo is good, tortas are huge, beans are good. Really homie mexican food.
Tacos are Amazingly good here. Chicken or carne asada, you can’t go wrong. So delicious!!
The food is out of this world. I drove 30 minutes just to eat here!
One of the few places I've seen where they are cooking food right infront of you like the street markets the al'pastor is delicious
The food here is worth the drive it took me to get there. I've always heard good things but after trying it I see why. Has both an indoor and outdoor area to place your order. The gentleman helping us was more than willing to help us make the hard choices on what you orders. Lots of options to choose from. The food was made quickly and tasted great. Can't wait to try something new next time.
Has a real good variety of authentic Hispanic food. This is the best Hispanic restaurant I've ever been to. I gave a 3 star because it's always dirty. Tables never cleaned or cleared & bathroom stinks.
This is kind of a funky, homey place. The workers were helpful and busy. The prices were okay.I got a plate of fish tacos, rice, and beans. The fish tacos were really good -- quite tasty. But TINY! Seriously, each was about the 3" across! The rice and beans were tasteless. Not to be totally rude, but seriously, Taco Bell does better with these.Still, I will give it another try. The lovely photos on the wall look very tempting. Or I might just order several fish tacos.
Food was good but the place looked like a tornado had hit it. They would be wise to focus on how to keep tidy. However seems like its popular and busy
I used to make a weekend trip every week. The food is so good!
Some of the best Mexican food in the Portland metro. Authentic ingredients and flavors. The chicken is incredible! Tacos, tortas...you really can't go wrong with anything you order.
Great food for the best prices
They have an inside and outside ordering station. You get to watch them cook the food if you order from the outside. Really tasty food.
Jeebus, this thing is massive, only $8. .And delicious
Delicious, authentic food for a great price.
So good, my husband and I love this place.
Super good food and quick service!
Delicious tacos and great service
Came in for lunch. I ordered a carinae asadah burrito combo. Most of my burrito was ground beef not carnell asada. The rice was oily and beans were cold. And my horchata had black spots in it like pepper. The only good thing was the Cashier and salsa
I haven't been here in years, but glad I came back. The place still makes some of the best tacos and food in town. We ordered a few items from the outdoor section that included a couple carne asada tacos, pastor tacos, breakfast burrito, chicken quesadilla, a piece of grilled chicken. The food is made to order and they are pretty quick at getting it to you. The flavors of the tacos were great and tasty. The breakfast burrito was large and definitely filling. The grilled chicken had some amazing flavors. Overall, you can't go wrong here.
Recently changed their breakfast burrito ingredients and price. $5 is a good price for a burrito but I would gladly pay $8 for the old burrito again since it was better.
Had tacos they were above average amd enjoyed them
Food was good, and you get good portion for price. So many options, but a bit confusing for first timer. You need to make an order, then find a table and wait for your order. The tables were a little dirty. Overall, it's great and we will come back again.
Food taste and quality are always excellent.
Best food on this side of town! Lengua is the best I've had in Oregon.
The inside can be dirty, salsa bar not the freshest, feels like some food is microwaved, the meat is bland and greasy. Rice and beans are flavorless it’s. Mexican Food that lacks pride.
Good food. But I'm not coming back here because the people that comes here are not wearing mask. And they are not told to wear mask. Seems all the people that is working are wearing mask. So I won't be back til this whole pandemic is over.
Food is good. But lately service and cleanness are a different story. Had my order messed up twice and tables are always dirty.
Everything is truly delicious at Ochoa's, but my true love is their outdoor taco bar. It's closed now due to Covid tho so call ahead first.
Good food, good location, seemed very popular as every time I go there, there is a line, and people dining inside. They could use a few updates and a good cleaning, especially in the bathroom!! I hope someone sees this and cleans it, lol. I mostly just go here for their tamales, they are only $1 and you can buy them to-go by the dozen! Love them!
The food is delicious! Customer service not that well! The cashier is not friendly at all, looks like she's mad all ther time if it weren't because of the lack of customer service I would of rated it 5 stars.
Some of the best food from south of the border in town.
Well worth the trip on Max from Vancouver to Hillsboro, delicious!
Everything you need from a Mexican comfort food place - extensive menu with plenty of choices, low prices, prepared perfectly and quickly. My go-to favorite in Hillsboro.
They make great authentic mexican food and its cheap and fast.
Been to numerous taco places in Hillsboro and this one is forever my favorite. In my opinion their street tacos are fantastic, the meat and grilled onions are cooked and prepared very well! The staff is friendly but not chatty (which is a nice relief not to be bombarded by fake customer service personas) and the food comes out quickly! Wish I could give it 4.5 stars because there are a few small things that could be better (for example the space isn’t heated). Don’t come in here expecting a nice/ formal and American style atmosphere; it’s very casual and authentic. Has a bit of a cafeteria or foodcart-but-inside vibe which is really laid back and which I really enjoy. Prices are also very cheap, if you don’t keep coming back for the food you come back for the prices. I’m surprised it’s not insanely popular but it is a little hidden
I was excited that they were offering curbside pickup. I was NOT so excited when they gave me my order without gloves or a mask. Restaurants should be taking extra precautions during this unpredictable time to keep their customers safe as well as their employees.
I love this place. When I was learning Spanish, I lived in Mexico with a host family and have pretty high standards for Mexican food. If you don't mind that the restaurant is basically a no-frills hole in the wall, the food is really excellent and fairly priced.
I came here to get a Torta which is a Mexican style gigantic sandwich. The food here is very delicious.the floors could use a sweep from time to time. The tables were clean the last two times we came in. Parking is a bit limited and they are building new ones. But the are large in size. I give it a thumbs up 👍🏽🤠
I love the taco stand they have outside good service and amazing food!
Delicious food always delightful to eat here with family, prices that feed your pocket.
Really good tacos. Full of meat, even the birria de Chivo tacos. I had the enchiladas also which were very delicious.
Dirty bad things happen to the Carne Asada and Al Pastor here... And I love every bit of it! A HillsBurrito delight. Come check out a lil peice of MEXICO in Oregon.
While I do love their food , I'm extremely desapointed on their lack of transparency on their prices. They have a sign stating that their Asada is $13/lbs and they're charging $20 for it.
